Louisville man arrested after investigation allegedly uncovers child pornography
Police say a Louisville man is facing several charges after several examples of child pornography were found in his possession.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a Louisville man is facing several charges after several examples of child pornography were found in his possession.
According to an arrest report, the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crimes Branch executed a search warrant at the apartment of 35-year-old James T. Skaggs in the 6300 block of Fern Valley Way, near the intersection of Fern Valley Road and Shepherdsville Road, Wednesday afternoon.
While there, they allegedly discovered 29 computer files containing child pornography.
When confronted about the material, Skaggs allegedly admitted that he intentionally searched for, downloaded, viewed and possessed child porn.
Skaggs was arrested and faces 29 charges of possession or viewing of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor. He is currently being held in Louisville Metro Corrections.
