LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Flying Axes is Louisville's first ax-throwing venue.
Ax-throwing is a recreational sport, in which players compete by throwing axes at wooden targets. Ax-throwing is a popular team-building activity for businesses, churches and other organizations. It's also an ideal activity for special celebrations, like bachelor or bachelorette parties, graduations, birthdays, or simply a fun night out with friends and family.
HOW TO PLAY:
Two players compete at a time, ax-to-ax.
Each player throws one ax, five times per game.
If an ax sticks, players score between 1-5 points.
The player who wins two or more games, wins the match.
Flying Axes is located at 146 North Clay Street.
You can find Flying Axes on the edge of Nulu & Butchertown, next to David Armstrong Extreme Park.
An ax-throwing league starts in the early fall of 2017.
