Death investigation underway after pedestrian hit by train on Frankfort Avenue

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- LMPD is investigating after a person was hit and killed by a train on Frankfort Avenue.
MetroSafe dispatchers tell WDRB the call came in at 7:06 Sunday night from Frankfort Avenue near South Clifton Avenue.
The victim's body was found behind the Asian Wok restaurant, near The Hub and The Comfy Cow.
LMPD Spokesperson Alicia Smiley says a death investigation is underway.
No other details have been released.
