LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – It was a very successful professional pitching debut for former Louisville Cardinal Brendan McKay.
The Rays top pick finally took the mound Sunday for Hudson Valley in New York Penn league action and he was his dominant self against visiting Staten Island.
McKay only pitched 2 innings but he did not give up a hit or a run. He stuck out 4, allowing a single walk.
Hudson Valley wound up winning 1-0 in ten innings.
