LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky State Fair is ready to hire workers for its eleven day run. 

The fair begins hiring on Monday, August 7 both online and in person.  

About 750 temporary workers are needed to work admission gates, maintenance, grounds, housekeeping and more. Shifts are available to work morning, day, evening and overnight. 

Starting pay is $8.25 an hour. 

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and provide proper identification to verify work eligibility, such as photo ID and a Social Security Card.
