Three people accused of shoplifting at Macy's in Oxmoor Center

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say they've arrested three people after they were caught stealing just over $500 worth of merchandise from a local department store.

According to arrest reports, it happened at Macy's in the Oxmoor Center shopping mall Thursday evening.

Louisville Metro Police say that, just before 10 p.m., they were called to the store after store security reported that three people had been stealing merchandise. According to arrest reports, someone from loss prevention said they saw 26-year-old Michael Wright, 28-year-old Toni Fisher and 20-year-old Kari Oliver take merchandise, hide it and walk past the cashiers without paying for it.

In total, $505 worth of merchandise was taken, according to police. It was all recovered.

All three suspects were arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.
