Third woman comes forward accusing LMPD officer of rape

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A third woman has come forward with allegations of rape against LMPD Officer Pablo Cano, according to Metro Police.

She joins two other women who said Cano assaulted them.

The other two women have filed lawsuits, claiming the assaults happened in June 2016, but it is not clear whether or not the third woman has filed a lawsuit against the officer.

Cano is suspended with pay, pending the outcome of the investigation. He has been with the department for two years.

LMPD's Public Integrity Unit is investigating all three cases.
