LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two people have died after an early morning single-vehicle crash in Indianapolis. 

According to a news release from Indiana State Police, the crash happened around 5:30 a.m. Saturday on I-465 west.

Early investigation showed a Chevrolet pickup truck entered the center median. As they tried to exit the median, the driver overcorrected and flipped the pickup several times. 

Officers arrived to the scene where they found a deceased male and a female with critical injuries. Both had been ejected during the crash. 

The female was transported to a hospital where she died as a result of her injuries. 

Investigators said neither victim was wearing a seat belt.

Their identities are not being released at this time.
