Woman arrested for drugs after traffic stop on I-65 in Indiana

SELLERSBURG, Ind. (WDRB) -- Indiana State Police arrest a woman for drugs, after a traffic stop on the interstate.
An ISP trooper pulled 27-year-old Alexandrea Grut over on I-65 near Scottsburg, Indiana Tuesday afternoon.
After the stop, K-9 officer Teague was brought in and alerted the trooper to possible drugs in the blue van. A search turned up drugs, syringes and other drug paraphernalia.
Officials say Grut had heroin hidden in a body cavity. She was taken to the Scott County Jail and faces charges of Possession of heroin, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a syringe and possession of paraphernalia.
