All lanes open: 2 injured in I-265 crash near Bardstown Road
Two people were taken to the hospital.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two people were injured in a crash on I-265 in southern Jefferson County on Friday morning.
MetroSafe confirms the crash happened in the northbound lanes of I-265 near Bardstown Road about 11:40 a.m.
A Louisville Metro Police officer at the scene tells WDRB that a pickup truck and car were traveling northbound on I-265, when they crashed.
The car spun around, ran off the road, hit a signpost and flipped over. The pickup truck, carrying paint, slid sideways into the median cable barrier. The barrier kept the truck from moving into the oncoming lanes. Both drivers were not seriously injured.
North and southbound lanes between Bardstown Road and Billtown Road lanes reopened about 12:30 p.m.
