LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned chef, a new business offers cooking classes that whip up an entertaining meal.
Cooking at Millie's offers the very first locally owned urban cooking class business, located in the heart of downtown Louisville. The classroom is equipped with state of the art ovens and cookware that allows participants the opportunity to learn about the food and cultures of countries across the globe.
Based on fond memories from cooking in her grandmother's kitchen, owner Natalie Reece named the the cooking school after her grandma, Millie.
Classes teach a variety of culinary skills that participants can duplicate in their own kitchen. Each class is taught by a local chef or food enthusiast who wants to share their story and teach new skills and recipes.
Students not only learn step-by-step instruction, but also share in camaraderie that will ensure everyone has an incredible time, and leaves with newfound knowledge about cooking.
Grab your sweetheart for a date night or invite your co-workers for team building. Private and corporate events are also available.
This cooking school is located at 340 West Chestnut Street in Louisville, at the base of the Hilton Garden Inn. For more information, call 502-882-0303, or visit www.cookingatmillies.com.
