LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The FAA is investigating after a plane was forced to land on a golf course in Bowling Green Saturday. 

Officials said a JN4D amateur-built plane lost power when it departed from a runway at the Bowling Green Airport - Warren County Regional Airport. 

The plane made a forced landing on a golf course nearby. 

One pilot was on board the plane but there is no word on any injuries at this time. 

The FAA and Bowling Green authorities will release more information upon further investigation.

The NTSB is investigating the cause of the accident.
