1 person killed in single vehicle crash on I-64 in southern Indiana
Indiana State Police said the crash happened about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday near the 98 mile marker.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana State Police is investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash on I-64 in Harrison County.
The crash occurred around 7:37 a.m. Tuesday on I-64 East near mile marker 98. One person was killed, according to ISP.
Police said a gray 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling east on I-64 when it went off the road into the grassy median. The vehicle crossed both lanes and went more than 150 yards before hitting a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by the Harrison County Coroner. The name of the driver hasn't been released pending notification of the family.
