LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they've arrested two people after officers found eight pounds of high-grade marijuana inside their home.

It happened on Thursday at 5 p.m. at the home of 46-year-old Philip Daulton and 42-year-old Hannah Tweedy, on Marina Cove, near the intersection of Marina Drive and U.S. 42 West in Prospect.

Police say they executed a search warrant at the home and found an estimated eight pounds of high-grade marijuana and a digital scale. Suboxone -- a prescription medication -- was also found in Tweedy's purse, according to arrest reports, along with "a large amount of U.S. currency."

Both Daulton and Tweedy were arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. They are currently being held in Louisville Metro Corrections.
