AT&T to help blind man experience total solar eclipse in Hopkinsville, Kentucky
A pair of smart glasses and a soundtrack will help the man experience the eclipse.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- AT&T is helping a blind man experience the total solar eclipse in Hopkinsville.
The communications giant is partnering with a tech start-up to offer a unique experience. A blind man from Tennessee will wear a pair of smart glasses, which stream video to a remote agent, who explains what the camera is seeing in real time.
The man will also listen to an audio soundtrack based on data taken during past eclipses.
AT&T plans on live streaming the man's interaction so others can experience what he's experiencing.
