LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Amber Alert that was issued for 4-year-old Kentucky boy has been canceled.

Police issued the alert Friday night for Tayden Kanatzer.

The alert was canceled early Saturday morning after the child was found in Oldham County. Authorities say the child is safe and has been returned to his father.

When Georgetown Police issued the alert, they said Kanatzer's non-custodial mother, Kayla Melton, forcefully removed him from his home.

Melton may have been under the influence of meth, and Kentucky State Police said she has a history of substance abuse.
