RAW VIDEO | North Carolina AMBER Alert suspect speaks out during Louisville court appearance

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A North Carolina man arrested in Louisville after he allegedly abducted an 8-year-old girl spoke out in court Monday morning.

Patrick McGraw, age 37, is charged with kidnapping.

An Amber Alert was issued Sunday in Stokes County, North Carolina, for 8-year-old Trinity McGraw. Police say she was abducted by Patrick McGraw, and authorities believed they were headed to Louisville.

They were both found safe Sunday night in Louisville and Patrick McGraw was arrested.

On Monday morning, he appeared before a Louisville judge, and he had some things he wanted to say.

"One thing I want to voice is..." he said.

"I don't want you to say anything sir," the judge interjected.

"Yeah, alright," McGraw said as he was led out of the courtroom.

Then he paused and looked at WDRB's camera before saying, "She was my daughter -- my child!"

"Just keep your mouth quiet," the bailiff told him as he was led out of the room.

McGraw is awaiting extradition to North Carolina.
