LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --  A Northern Kentucky girl was not happy with her view of the eclipse.

Amanda Thaman shared a video on social media of her very upset 7-year-old daughter, Campbell.

Campbell Thaman told her mom she was expected it to get pitch black outside during the eclipse. But Campbell was in Kenton County, Kentucky near Covington, which was not in the path of totality.

Amanda asked her, "Why are you disappointed? I wanted to see it. You did see it, honey. No I didn't  -- I wanted to see the darkness and it didn't happen!"

When the little girl realized she wasn't going to get the full effect, she broke down in tears. The video has gone viral with nearly 50,000 views and counting on Facebook.
