LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Tips received through a national organization helped LMPD officers track down a wanted fugitive in Louisville.

The Attorney General's Cyber Crimes unit had been been searching for 38-year-old Kyle Legg, who was first arrested in Winchester in 2015 where he was indicted on multiple counts of possession of child porn.

Since then, cyber investigators have received numerous tips about his online activity through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

This week, LMPD was able to track him down in Louisville. Legg was booked into Metro Corrections Aug. 22.

He faces drug possession charges in Louisville, but will be extradited to Winchester to face child sex crime charges.
