LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The University of Louisville will announce a lucrative extension with Adidas on Friday, a source tells WDRB News.

The deal is for 10 years and $160 million, which is the most-lucrative contract Adidas has signed with an athletic program.

UCLA previously held the unofficial title of top Adidas client until it left the company for Under Armour last year, signing a 15-year, $280 contract.

The new contract for U of L is one of the five richest in the country. Friday's press conference will begin at 11 a.m.
