Yoga studio, Shamrock Pet Foundation offer kitten yoga
The kitten yoga class is meant to raise awareness about the importance of spaying and neutering and raise funds for the cause.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A yoga studio in the Butchertown neighborhood and Shamrock Pet Foundation partner to offer yoga class with kittens on Sunday.
The event is to raise awareness about the importance of spaying and neutering and raise funds for the cause.
"Our main mission is to reduce the number of companion animals that are euthanized in Jefferson County on a daily basis and the only way to do that is to spay and neuter," says Mary Casey, Vice President of Shamrock Pet Foundation.
Adoptions won't take place during the class. However, participants can fill out an application for a reference check.
After being spayed and neutered, getting their shots and being microchipped, the kittens will be ready for adoption for a $95 fee.
