Louisville father accused of stealing Pokemon cards while children acted as lookouts

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a Louisville father stole over $180 worth of Pokemon cards while his children acted as lookouts.
According to an arrest report, the incident occurred at the Walmart at 1915 S. Hurstbourne Parkway, near Taylorsville Road, just after 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Police say a Walmart loss prevention employee saw 46-year-old Michael R. Hill stealing the cards while his children, "maintained lookout on either side of the aisle." Hill's actions were captured on surveillance video, according to police.
According to the arrest report, Hill was arrested after he walked past all of the cash registers and u-scan machines.
Police say the cards -- worth $182.92 -- were found on his person.
Hill was arrested and charged with theft. According to the arrest report, his children were released into the custody of their mother.
Hill is currently being held in Louisville Metro Corrections.
