LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Derby City is catching attention for its friendliness.

According to Travel and Leisure, Louisville is the 8th friendliest city in America.

In its entry on Louisville, the publication says, "Travelers should be prepared to hear directions from everyone — and share at least a few glasses of bourbon with strangers."

Other nearby cities also made the list -- Nashville came in at # 7 and Indianapolis came in at #6.

As for the most friendly city in America, that honor goes to Buffalo, New York.
