LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- StoryWood Bowties gives old wood a new purpose.

Reclaimed wood from historic buildings in the right hands makes perfect clothing accessories.

Ali Muhammad, Maya Williamson, and Collin Machine craft wooden bow ties that tell a story.

WDRB's Keith Kaiser traveled to their workshop to see how the bow ties are created.

StoryWood Bowties strives to make the world a better place. A portion of the sales goes to WaterStep and TreesLouisville, two non-profit organizations that strive to build a better future.
