LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police have arrested a man accused of robbing a Lyft driver -- and on Wednesday morning, a judge offered the man some advice.

"You need to take a look at this jail," Jefferson District Judge Sean Delahanty said. "Because this place may be your home. This or KSR for the immediate future. You need to figure out what you're doing with your life."

Christopher Smyzer, age 19, was arrested on a warrant on Tuesday.

Police say a Lyft driver drove Smyzer and two of Smyzer's accomplices to Riverside Gardens Park last month. That's at Lees Lane and Camp Ground Road. According to the warrant, one of the accomplices pulled out a gun and held it to the driver's head. That's when the suspects allegedly took his wallet and phone, forced him out of the car and drove off.

The victim walked to a neighbor to call police.

Smyzer pleaded not guilty to robbery Wednesday morning.
