Arrest made after man robs Fifth Third Bank on Poplar Level Road
The Louisville Metro Police Department is thanking both the public and the media after a man accused of robbing a local bank was arrested less than 24 hours after police asked for help.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Metro Police Department is thanking both the public and the media after a man accused of robbing a local bank was arrested less than 24 hours after police asked for help.
Police say 55-year-old Henry Lynn Glenn was taken into custody Wednesday morning and charged with second-degree robbery. According to officials, Glenn robbed the Fifth Third Bank, located at 4201 Poplar Level Road, on Jan. 24.
Police say he entered the bank, walked up to a teller window and presented a note demanding money.
No one was hurt in the robbery.
Even though Glenn is in custody, police are still searching for more information about the case. Anyone with additional information is asked to call 502-574-LMPD (5673). Callers can choose to remain anonymous.
