LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --  Developer Kevin Cogan plans to build a three-story golf driving range and “entertainment facility” off Old Henry Road near the Snyder Freeway, according to plans filed with Louisville Metro government.

The 85,728-square-foot, 110-bay driving range would be bigger than the driving range planned by Dallas-based Topgolf at the former Sears building behind Oxmoor Center, according to the plans.

Topgolf proposes a three-level building totaling 65,000 square feet with 102 hitting bays, according to plans filed in February.

The driving range at 3050 Terra Crossings Blvd. would be part of a 100-acre development where Cogan’s company, Jefferson Development Group, has approvals to build restaurants, apartments and a car dealership.

The driving range would be adjacent to the east side of the Snyder Freeway roughly halfway between Old Henry Road and LaGrange Road.

Documents filed by Cogan’s company on Monday don’t say who would operate the driving range or what sort of entertainment it would have.
