New Naive restaurant brings 'sustainable approach' to Butchertown
The restaurant sources all of its food from small farms in Kentucky and Indiana.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new restaurant opens this week in Butchertown. It's called Naive.
The restaurant sources all of its food from small farms in Kentucky and Indiana. The menu is vegan- and vegetarian-friendly, but the restaurant also serves chicken, pork, fish and lamb.
Founder Catherine Mac Dowall is known for working with famous chef, Jose Andres.
"We take a sustainable approach to a traditional restaurant concept in everything that we do, from the way we source our food, to how we process it in the restaurant, to what we do with it afterwards, to reduce our carbon footprint," she said.
Naive serves dinner and will start serving lunch this weekend.
