LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police have arrested two more people after a shooting at Waterfront Park last week.

Police arrested Thomas Nelson and Tajuan McDowell -- both 18 -- on April 19, a week after LMPD officers responded to reports of a shooting incident near the SkyStar Observation Wheel.

Investigators determined 19-year-old Keion Page had been shot on the Great Lawn. An arrest report says officers responding to the scene saw Page come out of a tree line and begin running towards the Ferris wheel.

Page was later arrested and charged with receiving stolen property and evading police.

Authorities say when Page was taken into custody, he stated he had been shot at, and then fired back. Police confirmed Page was grazed by a bullet.

According to police reports, Page identified Nelson as the shooter in the incident that was captured on surveillance cameras.

Police say McDowell told them he and Nelson had been following the victim around before Nelson opened fire.

Both men were arrested Thursday afternoon in the 2600 block of Franklin Avenue. Police say Nelson admitted a gun found during a search of the car he was in was his. A bag of suspected heroin was also recovered from the back seat.

Both men are being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on charges of assault and possession of heroin.

Police say the suspects had a third accomplice, who is a juvenile. It's not clear if that person is in custody, or what charges he or she faces.
