LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – The Louisville Cardinals six game win streak is over – and they have no one to thank for that but themselves.

On Saturday the 20th ranked Cardinals (26-12, 10-10 ACC) blew a 4-1 lead to Virginia before falling 5-4 at Jim Patterson Stadium. 

Sophomore left hander Nick Bennett suffered the loss, his first of the season. He allowed four earned runs on eight hits in 5.2 innings

After splitting the first two games of the series, the teams will play a decisive game 3 Sunday at Jim Patterson Stadium. First pitch is at 1 p.m.
