LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested a man authorities say had several pounds of marijuana inside his home.

Felipe Rodriguez, 35, was arrested Sunday.

According to an arrest report, detectives stopped Rodriguez for failing to signal while turning into the Days Inn on Fern Valley Road.

Police say once he was stopped, Rodriguez agreed to a search and to go with detectives to his home, located in the 3000 block of Rosewedge Way, near Cane Run Road.

Authorities say officers found about 40 pounds of marijuana that was packaged for sale, a digital scale, a vacuum sealer and food saver bags.

Rodriguez is charged with trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections.
