New Albany police investigating after hospital reports gunshot wound patient
The condition of the individual is not known.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police in New Albany, Indiana, are investigating after they say a local hospital received a gunshot wound patient for treatment.
According to a news release from New Albany Police Chief Todd Bailey, police were called to Baptist Floyd Hospital at about 7:40 p.m. Tuesday after the hospital reported that it had received a patient with a gunshot wound.
That individual was transported from Baptist Floyd Hospital to University Hospital in Louisville for additional treatment. The condition of the individual is not known.
