LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are investigating after several people were hurt in two stabbings and four shootings Saturday morning.

Police say a male victim was stabbed in the abdomen at Phillips Lane and Preston Highway. A call was received at 6:08 a.m. The victim was taken to U of L Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Officials from the LMPD's 6th Division are investigating the case. No suspects have been arrested.

MetroSafe says a male victim showed up with gunshot wounds at Louisville Fire Engine 6 on Griffiths Avenue around 6:45 a.m. LMPD says the shooting happened on North 23rd Street. The victim was taken to U of L Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Police have not arrested a suspect.

Officials say a male victim in his 40s walked into University Hospital around 7:30 a.m. suffering from a gunshot wound. It's not known exactly where the shooting took place. The victim's injuries appear to be non-life threatening, according to police. There are no suspects. 

LMPD 1st Division officers responded just before 7:40 a.m. after a woman was shot in the 500 block of South 20th Street, near West Muhammad Ali Boulevard. Police say the victim was taken to U of L Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Police have made no arrests in the case.

MetroSafe says officers were called to a stabbing at 7:45 a.m. in the 3600 block of South 7th Street Road near Berry Boulevard. Police say a male victim was walking with a family member when he became involved in an altercation with another male. Police say during the incident, the victim was stabbed by the suspect with some kind of bottle. The victim was taken to U of L Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Officers with LMPD's 4th Division are investigating the case.

MetroSafe says officers responded around 11 a.m. to a shooting in the 1700 block of St. Louis Avenue, near Dixie Highway. Officials say officers found a man in his 20s with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he later died. LMPD Spokesperson Dwight Mitchell says a person is in custody with charges pending.

LMPD's Major Crimes Unit is investigating the three non-fatal shootings, which police say do not appear to be related.
