LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man shot and killed in the Park Hill neighborhood Saturday morning has been identified and a man has been charged with murder, according to police.

MetroSafe told WDRB the shooting was reported around 11 a.m. in the 1700 block of St. Louis Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located a man who appeared to be in his 20s, identified Sunday as 27-year-old Dwayne Sensley, with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he later died, according to LMPD Spoksperson Dwight Mitchell.

Deborah Barnett was visiting family who live on the street Saturday afternoon and was saddened by the loss of life.

“I don’t know the person that was found in the backyard but my heart goes out to his family because I know they’ve got to be hurting,” Barnett said.

Mitchell said 27-year-old Brandon Johnson was arrested after the shooting, and is facing murder charges for the Sensley's death. He is also charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property, a firearm, and tampering with physical evidence. He's expected in court on Monday.

Sensley is one of four people who were shot in Louisville Saturday morning. Police say a man with multiple gunshot wounds showed up at a Louisville fire department just before 7 a.m. and was taken to the hospital. Around 7:30 a.m., a man in his 40s walked into the hospital with a gunshot wound. Officers were then called to the 500 block of South 20th Street around 7:40 a.m. on a report that a woman had been shot. Those three victims are being treated for what officials say are non-life threatening injuries.

In addition, police are investigating two stabbings from Saturday morning. Police say a man was stabbed in the abdomen at Phillips Lane and Preston Highway just after 6 a.m. He was taken to the hospital with what officials say are non-life threatening injuries. A second stabbing happened at 7:45 a.m. in the 3600 block of South 7th Street Road, near Berry Boulevard. Officers say a man was walking with a family member when he got into an altercation with another man and was stabbed. He is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
