LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Thousands of people participated in this year's Tour de Lou Sunday morning.

The race, which started and ended at Waterfront Park, was open to cyclists of all experience levels.

There was a 62.1 mile course, a 35 mile course and a 20 mile course. The courses featured Louisville highlights like the scenic Olmstead Parks, neighborhoods around the city, and of course the downtown area.

This was the 5th year for the event with the Kentucky Derby Festival.

Organizers say it keeps growing every year.
