Indiana offering classes, nicotine replacement products to help smokers kick the habit

The Indiana State Department is offering free medication to help Hoosiers stop smoking. The Indiana State Department is offering free medication to help Hoosiers stop smoking.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Indiana State Department is offering free medication to help Hoosiers stop smoking.

Participants are required to enroll in quit line coaching to receive a 2-week supply of nicotine replacement products. They will be given a phone number for confidential coaching on how to quit. 

The Hoosier State remains in the top 10 for highest smoking rates in the country.
