LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer isn't missing out on the Kentucky Derby wagering, and he once again put some liquor on the line.

Fischer and the mayor of Ocala, Florida, Kent Guinn, made their annual bet Wednesday. Fischer is putting up a bottle of Woodford Reserve bourbon and Guinn put up some Ocala brandy.

Fischer is getting behind the Kentucky-bred horse Mendelssohn. Guinn is going with Magnum Moon, who was trained in Florida by Todd Pletcher.

It's the fifth year for the friendly wager between the mayors of the two cities, both of which consider themselves to be the Horse Capital of the World.
