Southern Indiana man arrested for allegedly robbing PNC Bank in New Albany

NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WDRB) -- The search is over for a man accused of robbing a bank in New Albany.

New Albany Police say 52-year-old Robert Hardesty of Charlestown has been arrested for robbery.

The robbery happened last Friday at the PNC Bank on State Street near Green Valley Road.

Police say Hardesty got away with cash but wouldn't say how much.

He is expected to be arraigned Thursday.
