Police say the victim suffered multiple facial fractures and had to be hospitalized.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man was arrested early Tuesday morning after police say he beat a man with a baseball bat, causing several facial fractures.
According to an arrest report, the incident took place on May 8, just before 4 a.m. in the 7300 block of Watson Lane, near Tennis Boulevard, in the Valley Village subdivision.
Police say a woman told them she was making breakfast inside a home when 20-year-old Kenneth Duvall walked into the room, enraged because he believed a man had stolen money from him.
Duvall then began fighting with the man, hitting him with the bat several times.
Police say the victim suffered multiple facial fractures from the attack and had to be hospitalized.
Duvall was arrested by Louisville Metro Police a short time later. He has been charged with first-degree assault.
He's currently being held in Louisville Metro Corrections.
