LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a woman who was on the run after she fatally stabbed a man to death in a Frankfort apartment complex last week has been arrested.

Police say 30-year-old Ashley (Relo) Jones was taken into custody on May 2 in a hotel in Ashland, Kentucky.

Frankfort Police say they responded to the Hickory Hills Manor apartment complex around 1 p.m. on April 30. That's where officers found 26-year-old Marcus Morris with a stab wound to the neck. He was taken to the Frankfort Regional Medical Center where he died.

Police quickly identified Jones as a suspect in the murder.

According to a news release, Frankfort Police traced her to the Ashland hotel, with the help of the Ashland Police Department, the Boyd County Sheriff's Office, the Greenup Police Department and the Kentucky State Police.

Jones was apprehended after the Ashland Police Department and the Boyd County Sheriff's Office executed the Frankfort Police Department's arrest warrant.

She is charged with murder. She is also facing various drug charges.

Jones is currently being held in the Franklin County Regional Jail.
