New Albany man found guilty of murder in 2015 beating death of his friend

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A New Albany jury found a man guilty Thursday of killing his friend.

Noah Nevil was on trial for murder, accused of killing Earl Moore in February of 2015. Prosecutors say Nevil beat Moore, left him for dead and started a fire to hide the crime. They also say the men were close friends. 

Nevil faces a maximum sentence of 65 years in prison. He'll be sentenced at the end of the month.
