LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky State Police are asking for the public's help to solve a 30-year-old cold case.

Investigators are working to identify a woman whose partially decomposed body was found in May of 1988 off Highway 330, just outside of Owenton, which is
near Campbellsburg.

Officials say they believe the woman was murdered, but she was never identified.

Artists were able to recently create a facial composite.

The woman is believed to have been between 25 and 40 years old and had short, dark brown hair. She also had a tattoo on her arm of the name, "Steve."

If you recognize her, call Kentucky State Police.
