LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man was arrested Monday after police say he threatened Republic Bank employees with fireworks before leaving with cash.

According to the arrest report, it happened around 1:30 p.m. on May 14, 2018. That's when police say 65-year-old James Siddall walked into the Republic Bank in the 3900 block of Taylorsville Road near Breckenridge Lane "armed with fireworks."

Police say Siddall "demanded and received business cash" before leaving.

He was arrested about a block away from the bank. Police say he gave a full confession.
