LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky is in need of more people to work at the polls for the May 22 primary election.

Secretary of State Allison Lundergan Grimes says there is a shortage of poll workers this year.

It takes 15,000 people across the state to fill all of the positions. Poll workers are paid for their service.

Registered voters who are interested in working can call Grimes' office at (502) 564-3490.
