LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The stage where you can see entertainment like Broadway shows and the Louisville orchestra was the site of a symphony of food Friday night.
The Main Street Association of Louisville hosted "A Taste of Main Street" in Whitney Hall at the Kentucky Center. Guests could sample food from places like Against the Grain, Bristol Bar & Grill, Patrick O'Shea's and Morton's Steakhouse.
Organizers say the event is especially important this year.
"With all the construction that's been happening, some of our businesses have been affected by that but have been sticking it through all the way," said Robin Miller, Executive Director of the Main Street Association of Louisville. "This is a great way to showcase all of them, let them know they're open, showcase the kind of food that they're serving or spirits that they're offering."
This is the second year for the Taste of Main Street.
