LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A blast from the past bowling party, all for a good cause.

The 90s were the theme at the Ten Pin Strike and Spare Family Fun Center on Sunday. People were encouraged to dress as their favorite 90s musician, celebrity or movie character, while bowling and listening to popular 90s music.

The event raised money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana, and celebrated the 8th birthday of the website Louisville Family Fun.

"The mission of my website was to take the community and get them out having fun together and making memories," website owner Stephanie White said. "And Big Brothers Big Sisters, by pairing young people with mentors, they get to enjoy those things together."

Louisville Family Fun raised nearly $6,000 at a similar event in November. Big Brothers Big Sisters serves more than 1,000 children each year by pairing them with mentors.
