Death investigation underway after woman's body found in southern Indiana
Two men on four-wheelers made the discovery near the Blue River Sunday afternoon.
PEKIN, Ind. (WDRB) -- A death investigation is underway, after the body of a woman was found in southern Indiana.
In a release, Indiana State Police say the body of 31-year-old Christina E. Collins of Pekin, Indiana was found in Washington County on Sunday afternoon.
Two men on four-wheelers made the discovery near the bank of the Blue River about a half mile west of South Bowers Knob Road.
An autopsy showed no signs of a struggle, drowning or trauma. Investigators believe Collins died the evening of Thursday, May 17. No foul play is suspected. Toxicology results are pending.
Police determined that Collins was the last person connected to a car found near the scene.
