LEXINGTON, Ky. (WDRB) -- A University of Kentucky football player is facing drug charges.

WKYT reports that defensive back Marcus Walker was arrested Thursday morning in Lexington.

Police say he had five pounds of marijuana and an ounce of cocaine on him. They also say they found a large amount of cash and a cash counter, when they executed a search warrant.

Walker is charged with trafficking marijuana and cocaine. He also faces a paraphernalia charge.

Walker has seen limited playing time as a Wildcat. The Florida native played in 12 games during the 2017 season.
