LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky soda maker Ale-8-One is adding a new flavor for the first time in 92 years.

Cherry Ale-8-One goes on sale at 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, May 25, at the Frazier History Museum. In a release, the museum said it will be the first location in Louisville where people can buy the new flavor for $4, per six-pack.

The company says it's made with real cherries and no artificial colors or sweeteners.

The new craft soda is available for a limited time and only while supplies last. It went on sale in other Kentucky cities in April, including Lexington, Frankfort, Richmond, Winchester, Bowling Green, Owensboro and Elizabethtown.

Ale-8-One Bottling Company was founded in 1902 by G.L. Wainscott in Winchester, Kentucky, and remains the oldest, privately held bottler in the United States still owned and operated by the founding family.
