LOUISVILLE, Ky (WDRB) -- The Louisville Bats mix baseball and bourbon this Memorial Day weekend.

"Cheers to Bourbon Night" is set for Louisville Slugger Field Saturday, May 26th.

The Bats are teaming up with Evan Williams to honor Kentucky's rich history of bourbon.

For one day, the team will be called the Louisville Mashers and change their jersey and logo. Special Mashers merchandise is also available.

The logo looks like a bourbon barrel holding a bat and a bag of corn.

Fans will be able to visit a bourbon tasting area during the game.

One thousand Evan Williams and Bats co-branded bourbon glasses will be given away.

On Sunday, night the Bats will celebrate Memorial Day with a big fireworks show along with a performance by the Chicago Boys Street acrobatic team.

Memorial Day is the annual Military Appreciation Day game. There will be canned food drive that will go to support military families in the Fort Knox area.

Tickets are still available for all three weekend games.
